The American ladies won two games with
their only loss coming at the hand of the
Russians by a single point 3-2. France also
only lost one match, a 4-0 loss to Germany.
Great Britain won one game, Singapore won
one and the Netherlands and South Africa
went winless in the preliminary round games.
Germany knocked off the U.S. in the
semifinals 4-3 in a great game, while Russia
beat France 3-1. In the finals it was all Russia
as they drubbed Germany 4-1. The U.S. beat
France 2-1 to claim third place.
Closing
It’s been a year to remember in this second
season of the NXL Europe. The events have
grown, the locations have been great and
the World Championships in Amsterdam
could not have gone better (except for the
weather). This year end closing event brings
optimism for European paintball and a hope
that 2020 may be the best year of competition
paintball in a long time—or maybe even ever.
