To put it in the simplest of terms, Yeti Squad is… “ready.” So, when Yeti hits the field, they hit the field like they own it. Always playing together and shoulder to shoulder. All members have radios so that should they get separated, they are not separated long. The rally cry goes out and they reform like a Terminator T-1000. They are always in contact with the team general so when they are needed in a particular fight, that’s where they are. With coordination and communication, Yeti Squad makes sixteen players feel like sixty players. Imagine Wagner’s Flight of the Valkyries blasting out over 036 paintball.media magazine loudspeakers when they attack, and you have the basic idea. Okay, okay… so maybe that is spreading it on a little thick but not by much. The takeaway from all this is that Yeti Squad is a tight knit, prepared and dedicated scenario team. They spend lots of time off the field doing things together like family picnics, barbeques and fund raising for Big Brothers and Sisters. They are, in my humble opinion, the epitome of what a paintball team should be, and while I will never be a member, I hope to some day play along side them.
