The Crazy Canadians
Sunday Feb. 16, we arrive after a 33 hour drive
from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada
(don’t ask, I screwed up the flights, and flight
became $1,500 by the time I noticed it, wrong
week). Jim and myself had an uneventful drive,
weather was good all the way, and no blizzards.
3,043 km = 1,890 miles. We managed on the
way back to do it in 31 hours. You do have to
remember it takes us 7-8 hours just to get out
of our Province and Canada.
Monday
“Field and store owners come[to the
Extravaganza] with a belief that this is the one
event that they have that’s not a tournament,
not anything else, it’s a dealer event, it’s a
tradeshow, it’s an industry event. They can
come and feel like they are going to be heard,
talk to manufacturers, they can collaborate.”
stated Mike Peverill.
Frank Prices’s Birthday University was all day 9
am – 5 pm on Monday. Frank runs his Birthday
I’ve driven to the Paintball Extravaganza in University at many entertainment conferences
Springfield Il, Atlanta GA, and now Memphis across the U.S.A.
TN, been at the ones in Washington DC and
Anaheim CA too.
Pre-registration happens too. 4:30 pm – 7 pm.
We toured Graceland on Monday, cool place.
Beale Street
No stop in Memphis is complete without going Behind the Bunker -
to Beale Street. Live music in every bar, and Monday
every second building is a bar. Great food and Behind the Bunker was live broadcast on
music.
Monday at their usual time from Memphis TN.
