Empire have put foam inserts in the front foregrip to prevent battery rattle. They adjusted the stock dwell settings on the board to make the gun more user friendly while shooting brittle paint. Lastly, they have increased the brightness on the display, making it easier to read and change gun settings on sunny days. In short, Empire took an awesome gun and made it awesome-er… yes, bad English but a GREAT paintball gun. Now at the time of writing this, the 1.5 was debuted at Paintball Extravaganza. There is talk of Empire releasing an update kit so that everyone who currently has the original Empire Syx can upgrade it to the newer versions.
