By Steve Mcguire tippmann stormer Tippman as done it again with their new Stormer modular paintball gun. Everyone knows that Tippman specialises in creating high quality, reliable and affordable paintball guns for entry level and intermediate players. With the Stormer, Tippman have upped their game to the next level. The Stormer is a fully modular, dual feed blow back paintball gun that offers you all the options that you could want for a day of playing paintball with your friends. There are three levels of Stormer paintball guns, so let’s start with the basics first that they all have in common. First and foremost, they all use Tippman’s tried and true in line blow back design, so you can have absolute faith that it will be reliable and easy to maintain. All Stormers have a high-impact composite body, internal gas lines, multiple picatinny rails, a vertical grip, bottom mounted ASA, a single trigger and an offset feed port. The offset feedport is important as this allows you to put sights and scopes on your gun without the loader getting into your line of vision. They are all 68 caliber as well. Now the three levels of Stormer are as follows… the basic, the tactical and the elite. The basic Stormer is exactly that. Everything you need to get out and play without being flashy. It swings fast. It’s light, it’s compact and it gets the job done. I prefer to think of it as less basic and more of a minimalist option. www.paintball.media 015
