First Strike Paintball had a lot of new products to show, many of them still in the development stage or the “we may release this” stage. Mark Ayers, the company’s sales manager explained, “We do a lot of experimental product development. If the customers want something, we’ll develop it. This is a good way for us to gauge interest in something we think has potential.” One of the “we may release this” items was a .50 caliber First Strike round. As I was chatting with Mark I could see literally everyone that walked into the booth picked up the .50 FS rounds. I would call that “interest.” 064 paintball.media magazine Chris and Mike form Virtue Paintball, among others, manned their booth for the three- day Extravaganza. As always, their booth was busy all hours of the day. Virtue’s hot products were the new Vio Contour II and Vio Extend II Goggles. Valken had one of the larger booths but nothing being shown for the first time at this year’s Extravaganza. Bergie from Valken did let us know they were planning to add larger sizes to their camo lines soon. Ninja Paintball had their brand new budget- minded Rival Air system on hand as well as a prototype air tank with a truck bed coating. Exalt Paintball had some new things, among
