Ten-Man Woodsball died a quick and sudden death in the early 2000s. Tom Cole, then
captain of Bad Company did his part to keep that “classic” game alive with his Ultimate
Woodsball League (UWL). Although the UWL never really was hugely successful, it
kept the flame lit until Tim Montressor brought back the famous mounds fields with
his Iron City Classic (ICC) three-plus years ago. And this year the NXL introduced the
International Classic Paintball League (ICPL). Classic paintball is alive and well.
