The 2020 ICPL Sunshine Classic was held on the familiar
grounds of Central Florida Paintball, a staple in the Florida
paintball community for decades. Three fields were used
throughout the event—woods, Hyperball and a hybrid
combination field. Team staging areas were woven
throughout the trade show area and players and fans of the
game crowded the Hyperball sidelines to watch the games all
day Saturday and Sunday. Limited spectating could also be
found along the sidelines of the hybrid and woods fields.
Twenty three Pro ten-man teams, 21 Amateur ten-man
teams and 13 Open class five-man teams attended the ICPL
Sunshine Classic. Ground Zero, Ironmen, All Americans,
Farside, Aftershock, Master Blasters and Saberwolves were
just a handful of the teams you probably have seen play or at
least heard of. A mix of current Pro NXL players, older former
NPPL Pro players, long time amateur players and younger,
newer players dotted the rosters of most teams.
