Normandy
Four thousand players converge on one of paintball’s legendary destinations
to remember the DDay landings of June, 1944 each summer as Skirmish,
nestled into the forests of the Pennsylvania Poconos, hosts their Invasion of
Normandy event. The adrenalin-pumping start to the game when the landing
craft ramps drop and the air literally fills with flying paint as the Allies throw
themselves across the beaches to get at the entrenched, fortified German
lines beyond make the Skirmish “ION” event a true bucket-list experience, as
does the vendor area packed with everything paintball and the experience of
camping with thousands of other paintball players. If you’ve been to Skirmish
for their Invasion of Normandy, you already know and you’re likely going back,
and if you haven’t, don’t wait another season to head to Pennsylvania for a
unique and truly remarkable paintball experience at one of paintball’s great
destinations!
