The World Cup is the one U.S. event that
players regularly bring their families to.
Inexpensive flights and hotels, Disney
Attractions and of course the weather
are all draws for players, teams and their
families. Almost three decades later the
event is bigger and better than ever.
2019
This year’s Cup was held at the familiar
Gaylord Palms Resort a mile from
Old Town Kissimmee. And even with
the record-breaking 557 teams in
attendance parking, flat grass fields and
accommodations were plentiful. There
was also no shortage of vendors at the
Cup. GI Sportz, Planet Eclipse, Valken,
Gog, DLX Luxe, Ninja Paintball, DYE, HK,
Proshar, Push, Infamous and dozens of
other companies of all sizes present.

Leading Up To the Cup
Coming into the 2019 NXL pro season
most would have believed that Edmonton
Impact or Houston Heat would be the
teams to beat. Both teams proved that
theory early, meeting in the finals in Las
Vegas—with Impact finishing on top.
Moscow Red Legion took the second NXL
event in Texas while Edmonton Impact
slipped to sixth place. In events number
three and four it all came together for
San Antonio X-Factor we the won both
Philly and Chicago. So here we are at the
2019 World Cup with X-Factor trying to
win three straight NXL pro events plus a
season title; ac: Dallas hoping to get their
breakthrough win; Moscow Red Legion
looking as strong as anyone; San Diego
Dynasty and Edmonton Impact always
ready to add to their already huge trophy
cases; and Houston Heat looking for back
-to-back World Cup wins.
