The response from Paintball Extravaganza was a very
good response during my safety presentation. We also
had several questions at our booths on products with
Weekend Warrior Sports and Insurance.
What did you most benefit from at Paintball
Extravaganza?
Getting the opportunity to teach others.
What do you think of the state of the industry and
game of paintball right now?
Several of the smaller fields have closed, and those that
did not run it as a business. The ones that have survived
are run as a business, with a business plan, marketing
money, advertising etc. We still see new fields opening
every month.

Is there anything you think can be changed to better
the game or experience?
Get back to basics of woodsball and having fun. Train
your employees and refs to be entertainers and educators
like at Disneyland, Seaworld, or any other “entertainment
center.” Enforce no close encounter shooting, and have
more trained refs on your field so it will be safer and you
will make more money. Ask me how!

Can you give us a little history on the company?
We started back up in the early 2000’s. It used to be called
Warrior Sports Gear located in San Diego, CA, but moved
out to SC in 2001. We used to have a retail store but shut
that down after the recession hit and focused on core
competencies of creating custom safety products for field
owners, many of which are our insurance customers.

Do you have a brick and mortar company? Or is it
mail order?

As Larry mentioned, there is also Weekend Warrior Sportz.
