The cut-down from the 54 preliminary round
teams to 16 semifinal teams was tough.
Pittsburgh Rampage was the final team to
make the cut with 498 points. Brimstone
Smoke missed the cut by a single point—
and dozen or so teams missed the cut by a
game.
In the finals San Antonio X-Factor clearly
separated themselves from the pack as they
beat each of the three teams they played.
Ac: Empire finished second with their two
wins; Bad Company placed third and Los
Angeles Infamous finished fourth.
Once again Tim Montressor and the team
put on an amazing event. The fields, the
reffing, the staff and the games were top
notch from start to finish. If you’re thinking
about playing this event next year, you
would be wise to get registered as soon as
possible as this event will sell out again in
2019.
The semifinal games were battles. Four
brackets, each with four teams played a
round robin schedule and only one team
from each bracket would advance to the
finals. Los Angeles Infamous, ac: Empire,
Bad Company and San Antonio X-Factor
wold each win their bracket advancing to
the finals. The All Americans missed the
finals cut by two points.
