Almost immediately, the once green forest was now a hazy white and red from the smoke grenades tossed by the British and the Americans. Visibility was key in taking down enemy forces and advancing towards the opposing flag, securing victory of whichever team had captured it. As the battle raged on, the American side was losing ground. The British had advanced a large number of their army which resulted in Bunker Hill becoming almost completely surrounded. Defending the flag at all costs, paintballs were not discriminatory as they flew past people, just barely missing them sometimes. The Americans responded by sending their own volley driving the British back a few yards taking cover behind the trees. After a long standoff, the British made one last push towards Bunker Hill, grabbing the flag and returning it to their starting area to claim victory over the Americans. History has repeated itself in this year’s Battle for Bunker Hill. Just like in 1775, the British forces conquered the Americans and reclaimed Charlestown as their own. www.paintball.media 137
