So what was the chief complaint of the weekend? The weather. Unfortunately, it wasn’ t as cooperative as the event staff would have liked. With high temperatures and intense humidity, even the most seasoned players needed to take frequent breaks to hydrate and rest. Thankfully the oppressively heavy air of Friday began to lessen throughout the weekend, and by Sunday was relatively bearable.
Unusual weather aside, the event was quite a success. Hundreds of happy players left SuperGame EAST excited for the next year.“ When the decision was made to start an
East Coast SuperGame, we understood that it would take it a few years to work the kinks out and have a successful event. Brian accomplished it in year one! Wait until everyone sees what we have in store for them in year two!” said Bonebrake. The many sponsors that contributed to this event included Planet Eclipse, OCD Paintball, Social Paintball, HK Army, Dyzana Sports, GI Sportz, Empire, Valken, Prestige Paintballs, Paintball. Media, Scrub Media, Milsig Direct, Tippmann, Inception Designs, Sport Smoke, and Team Tags. www. paintball. media
