Anticipation grows as the sound of the enemy closes in on your location. Your heart races as the adrenaline flows through your body. Smoke covers the area in front of you making visibility even more difficult. You look over your shoulder to the trees and see your fellow teammates advancing towards the front lines while dodging a barrage of paint from enemy forces. Will you go it alone, or will you be the head of the spear and lead your teammates to victory? On an early Sunday morning in the quaint town of Angelica, New York, excitement grew as people lined their cars all the way to the street at GRC Paintball. Tents were pitched next to the cars of people that spent the night, wasting no time in the morning getting ready for the long battle ahead. The sun was shining brightly overhead as 132 paintball.media magazine everyone made their way to the field for the start of the match. From families with young kids, military veterans and everyone in between, people from all over came ready and willing to give their all in order to claim victory for their side. It was time for the battle to begin. The British forces marched towards the designated starting area on the outer edge of the forest, while the Americans made their way to fortify and defend Bunker Hill, navigating the dense trees and uneven terrain. Teammates were discussing strategy and forming small groups to attack the enemy forces and capture their flag. The horn sounded, signaling the start of the game, and both sides held nothing back.
