PROFESSIONAL FINALS
Interestingly Alex Fraige of San Diego Dynasty
and legendary pro player has decided to sit
out the finals. “It’s time for the young guys to
step up,” he said in the pregame pits.
With the sun shining and the grandstands
full both teams were ready to go. Dynasty
took the opening point, even with a minor
penalty. Impact took point number two.
With Dynasty up 3-1, Impact pulled off a
one-on-one to bring the match to within one
point. In point number six Edmonton Impact
pulled off another tight one with under a
minute left, with the help of a Dynasty major
penalty. And the game is tied at three with
47 seconds left and Dynasty is starting the
potential winning/losing point down a body.
With the game tied at three and Dynasty
down a body with 47 seconds to go, the
game starts and Dynasty Alex Rodriguez
someone gets to the center 50, crosses into
Dynasty territory undetected and shoots 4
impact players. Dynasty 4, Impact 3. Could
Impact tie the game with only 28 seconds
left? IT was not to be as Dynasty dug into
their bunkers and picked off Impact one by
one as they pushed up the field. San Diego
Dynasty takes first place and sits atop the pro
year end standings after event number one.
With PC Katana leaving the semipro division
and heading north to the pros, Sacramento
DMG entered the 2017 Las Vegas Open as
the top seed. And in the preliminary rounds
they sure played like the top seed, winning all
of their games in blowout fashion. Distortion
came into the Vegas Open as the number
two seed and they also live up to that billing.
They too won their four preliminary round
games fairly easily.
