team of all females is Team Poison Ivy who has played
the Millennium Series. And although speedball may
look like the favorite amongst female players; the
magfed, woodsball, and scenario genre are increasing in
female players.
Many scenario players know about Viper games, but this
year Viper did something way different that I have never
seen before. The 2016 Viper Triple Threat was held in
Texas, and for the first time in Viper Paintball history all 3
commanders were women. This was a HUGE step forward
for women in paintball. That event also made history by
youngest female commander. Kaitlyn “Giggles” Riggs, a
17-year-old woman, led the green team in a 3-way battle;
and it was marvelous.
With the rise in female players as well as female fans,
business owners are finding a whole new market for
paintball. It is proven that women typically buy more
clothing than men. So with the new market of paintball
players to design clothes for, business owners have taken
this opportunity to expand their products and make more
money. Companies such as Planet Eclipse, HK Army,
Toprank Innovations, UNDR, and a whole lot more are
starting to make a women’s clothing line.
There are so many women paintball players now that
the industry is changing significantly. Paintball is always
changing, but the more people the better. Do you
