Red team led by Hightower of Ghost Crew was dominating the field for much of the weekend. But, my blue team battled hard and had some very impressive kill streaks that will be spoken of for years to come! Pistol Pete brought with him Maxim Gulinsky AKA “The Russian” who is a total beast on the field. When his marker when down after destroying their HQ he threw it down and tagged out a ton of their players including their general! The game started with us Generals inside our HQ’s, as the other team got points if they shot us. My team had less players than the Red team due to the weather keeping many of my Ohio guys from being able to come up for the game. So I needed to be on the field, as the field is so big, we didn’t have enough players to protect our base. I spent lots of time trying to fight off Red from taking our HQ, and cost my team lots of points as I got shot at least 3 times... Whoops! There may even be pictures of most of their team sitting in front of my HQ as I left the field and tried to get a airstrike dropped on my own HQ to eliminate them all and reset the map. It was an epic day, and even though mother nature didn’t cooperate, everyone who attended had an absolute blast! Strike Harder does a great job building a scenario with tons of missions with cool objectives. One mission they furnished a bomb and we had to take it to a specific area in the middle of the red’s territory and blow up a tower which one of our Blue players pulled off perfectly in the middle of the red team! We also had to go take pictures of a sniper tower with a furnished Polaroid camera, and I have those pictures sitting on my desk right now! The level of coordination between the organizers and the refs was very good, and since it was a magfed game, you didn’t have massive amounts of paint in the air. Which makes it a lot more measured and gives players the opportunity to do crazy things! The refs were amazing all weekend! www.paintball.media 087
