By the time the paintballs began flying for the Titans scenario game itself, pitting Sun Tzu and William Wallace and their Titans, Richard the Lionheart, Patton, Leonidas, Alexander the Great the Blood Legion against the Immortals, Ivan the Terrible, Napoleon, Gengis Khan, Vlad Tepes, Atilla the Hun, Xerxes and Joan of Arc, all played by various scenario personalities including Richard “Mamba” Money, Nehemiah Maness, Antonio Falcon, Sonny Lopez, Ken Fortunato Jr, Tony Odinson, William “Mad Frog” Crook and Connor McKenzie, the weather improved dramatically with the cold rain blowing out replaced by warmer temperatures and a blanket of clouds. buildings and cars, the tide turned as the red team coordinated flanking moves, pushes, and rushes through smoke grenade screens to move into the first row of Bedlam buildings, whittling away the blue team’s defenses. Red continued their push and before long the blue team had been pushed first out of Bedlam and onto the berm, then off the berm, then back into Armageddon, and finally out of Armageddon altogether before being held into their spawn by a relentless stream of red players who regularly back-filled their lines, critical bunkers and key positions with fresh players. Blue never recovered from this initial gut punch and the game remained under red team control. As the gun fired players dashed for mid- field and the paint began flying both in the woods deeper into the CPX park and, of course, at the showpiece fields of Bedlam and Armageddon.
