There is a lot of talent in the SPL2 (Semipro 2) division with teams like Rain Of Fire Nuernberg, FiveStar Lleida 2 and PBS91 Saulx les Chartreux, just to name a few. In the preliminary rounds the Group winners were Rebels Borgeskogen, Vision PPC Grenoble, Razorback Saint Etienne, United Strasbourg, Force Majeure Moscow and Lucky 15s Staffordshire. Rebels Borgeskogen from Norway beat Freilos Neuss in the ochos, Indecence Les Fourgs in the quarterfinals and PBS91 Saux les Chartreux to take t h i r d place. Force Majeure Moscow worked their way through the ochos, beating Low Life Uddevalla from Sweden, then FiveStar Lleida 2 in the quarterfinals and PBS91 Saux les Chartreux in the semifinals. In the finals they would face a red-hot Rebels Borgeskogen and that’s where their Bitburg event ended. Congrats to Rebels Borgeskogen for an undefeated event in the European Masters. In probably the most popular division/event in Bitburg other than the CPL, the EPBF Women’s Nations Cup was amazing. Eight teams from Russia, Germany, Great Britain, Turkey, France, Poland, Norway and the Netherlands squared off for a shot at the championships. In the preliminaries it was Russia and France dominating with undefeated brackets. Germany and Poland each won two of their three matches. In the semifinals Russia blanked Poland 4-0 in front of packed grandstands and spectators outside of the net five rows deep. In an emotional match with tons of fans of both teams cheering, France defeated Germany 3-2. France then went on to beat Russia also by a score of 3-2 to take the champion 6
