Season open games are always the best here in Canada.
That opportunity everyone waits for months to finally dust
off their paintball markers and equipment and shake off
those mid winter blues. Yes there is paintball that exists
here from the west coast of British Columbia through to
the east coast of Nova Scotia, it is Ontario however that
sits at its center serving as the hub for paintball in Canada.
Enter Crazy Bills Paintball, now in its sixth year of
operations, Crazy Bills has quickly become one of the
more popular fields to play each season. Located about
one hour from Toronto, near Brantford Ontario, The
Super Mario-themed season opener had almost 500 in
attendance in 2014. This year that number was blown
away with over 700 anxious and excited ballers ready to
get a game on.
What makes the game so popular? ... for starters, several
lucky people and pre registrants had opportunity to fly
into the game in a Bell UH-1 Helicopter. Now add tons of
cosplayers appearing in full costume to include Bowser,
Luigi, Mario, Princess Peach, Princess Toad Stool and so
on. Next factor in a field with significant investment in its
field features, this year a massive prison complex at its
core was in play for the first time. Not to mention vendors
tents in every direction that resulted in smiles on the faces
of all those attending that day.
This year, Bowser (Justin Vapor Hewitt) in the company
of his team The Glen Morris Mercenaries and XO (Mario)
