Imagine the sight of the Blue team’s tank driving down
the sandy path with hundreds of Blue team members
guarding and protecting it on all sides. It was quite the
sight as with each stop there were also hundreds of Red
team players attacking the tank. Inside the tank turret
Blue team member Tom Fellberg blasted his way to the
tune of three cases of paint—all shot in less than an hour.
Mission points were won on both sides as literally 300plus players were eliminated guarding and attacking the
tank. In the end each team scored 30 mission points.
Saturday’s final mission was simplified due to the rainy and
windy weather. The object for both teams was to gather
and hold as many flags as possible. Again there were
major skirmishes across the playing fields, with each team
pushing, then getting pushed back. The final mission on
Saturday was again a 30 to 30 stalemate. But once again

it was the Blue team dominating the overall flag score for
the day, scoring 21 points to the Red team’s 8.
With the game headquarters adding up the points
everyone knew the game was close. Red dominated the
missions and Blue dominated the flags. Only six points
separated the two teams. The final score was Red team
227 and Blue team 221.
All that was left now was the player’s party, another night
of camping and open play on Sunday. Safe to say this
EuroBigGame was amazing by any standard you would
judge a big game on. The games were a blast, the field
was incredible, the organization was top notch, the
vendor area vibrant and the atmosphere authentic. • • •
