Set amidst breathtaking scenery, the landscape riddled
with giant cedar trees amidst jagged rocky outcroppings,
complete with the majestic Mount Hood rising from the
earth like a great spire to serve as a massive backdrop,
this is the site for Supergame in Saint Paul, Oregon. The
venue itself set on the grounds of a massive hazelnut
grove was the perfect location for a super big game in
the North Western United States. Initial impressions were
very positive... rows and rows of vendor tents underneath
a canopy of Hazelnut trees. Fresh off the plane I was
inspired to get to work accumulating my media and
make the very most of what already promised to be an
amazing experience.
In the words of my friend Sarge Morin of the L.A Hitmen
in attendance at the game “Would love to thank Dan
Bonebrake for putting on another amazing Supergame
and re-igniting my passion for large scale paintball
games. Had an amazing time and can’t wait for next
years. Thank you to Greg Buyserie for opening up
Sniperz Den paintball to us as its the most beautiful
setting for an epic battle. Great success this weekend
gentlemen. Much love.”
Game producer Dan Bonebrake has been running
Supergames in this region for many years now. As such he
has the event streamlined to run as a well oiled machine
of paintball goodness. Everything from quick registration
to a solid game format, great staffing to top notch media,
it is as fine tuned as a Swiss watch as it relates to paintball
big games. Thus the reason this should most certainly be
a bucket list event for hardcore paintball enthusiasts. To
top it off the L.A Hitmen, Greg Hastings and renowned
photographer Gary Baum of paintballphotography.com
to name only a few of the big names in the game were
present as the proverbial icing on the cake.

Throughout the day Friday the action began with the first
few activities for attendees to either see as onlookers or
participate in themselves. The first of which was the Tank
Battles in the DMZ area of the field. Team built machinery
rolled around the field having to fire on opposing tanks
with Nerf rocket launchers. Each tank had to be hit in
the target area three times to be eliminated. The Etha
Killer sponsored by Planet Eclipse, smaller and more
manoeuvrable eventually achieved victory. Immediately
following, pistol aficionados took the field for one on
one duals, the teams and individuals participating
showed their stuff, some of whom were very talented with
the pistol.
As day gave way to the evening ... anxious and excited
players hit the field in earnest for the night game.
The Catshack spoke with GearHeadz Paintball`s very
own Keith Duvall on his experience through the night
battle. “Gearheadz started on the Red side and
were ready to go on breakout with the rest of Red
