RIP Tim Montressor, #TM40 I’ve been in the game of paintball a long, long time—35 years this summer to be exact. I’ve been in the industry for 30 of those years, I played on the pro circuit, owned a paintball store, a paintball field and published magazines for 28 years… the game and my life can’t be separated. In all of my days in this game I can’t think of any one person that loved the game, the players and all that comes with the full-time life of paintball, more than Tim Montressor. I won’t pretend to have been in Tim’s inner circle but I did know him well, like many of you. There wasn’t a conversation Tim wouldn’t have with anyone. He lived paintball and made time for anyone who wanted to talk about it… or anything else. He smiled nearly every waking minute. His love for the game, the people that play it, his family and his friends was obvious. When it came to paintball Tim was as apolitical as they come. If he believed in a product, an event, a person or a cause, he would get behind it whether there was something in it for him or not. If it bettered the game, Tim was all about it. RIP Tim Montressor. You left everything around you better than you found it. You will be missed like few in the game of paintball before you. I’m better to have known you. My condolences to Tim’s friends and family. I pray you find peace in your hearts and minds in this difficult time. –John Amodea #TM40
