When used on an Eclipse CS2 high-end
tournament paintball gun, consistent rates of
fire all over ten paintballs per second were
simple to achieve and maintain while ramping,
even down to the last ball when a chop or
break is most likely – none were encountered.
With rate of fire caps removed, the VSL was
able to feed consistently into the low teens,
easily clearing twelve and peaking at just
under fourteen paintballs per second without
breaking or chopping. Even hot summer days
that bake, soften and swell paintballs were
handled well by the VSL, which did not jam
or otherwise fail to feed at any time during
testing even when temperatures hovered at
the 100-degree mark with soggy humidity.
The Valken VSL loader checks off a lot of boxes.
Light, durable, available in various colors and
finishes, simple to use and easy to maintain with
a speed feed available and expanded capacity
possible, Valken’s loader does what it needs
to do with style and, most importantly, value.
Currently available at well under a hundred
dollars, the VSL is one of the most cost-effective
higher-level loaders available in paintball. For
players looking to shoot .50 caliber paintballs
through a higher-end paintball gun, the VSL’s
ability to switch from .68 to .50 and back again
makes it almost a necessity, rather than an
option. Players looking to squeeze all the value
they can out of every paintball dollar should
move the Valken VSL up a few notches on their
hopper list and give it a very serious look.
