A single or double-action semi-automatic paintball pistol, the G.I. Sportz Menace feeds both .50 caliber paintballs and the CO2 that powers them from a magazine inserted into the grip frame. Constructed from durable polymer and featuring a seven-round magazine, the pistol delivers impressive accuracy out to around ten yards depending on the quality of the paintballs used and is factory-set to velocity under 300 feet per second. Sights atop the marker’s non-reciprocating slide are rudimentary but serviceable with a rear notch and a blade front, and the marker’s hammer can be cocked manually to fire the gun single-action, providing a shorter trigger pull. During shooting no paintballs were broken in the Menace and the marker attracted a great deal of attention both from tactical and recreational players who loved its looks, light weight and the fun of shooting it. The fun of the G.I. Sportz Menace pistol is that it’s small, light and simple. No hoppers to change batteries in push buttons on and fill up, no big air tank to go wait in an air line to go fill. Simply load the magazine with a handful of .50 caliber paintballs, slip a 12 gram cartridge into the magazine, lock, load and start blasting. While the intended use of the marker as stated by G.I. is as a holstered backup marker, we found the Menace to be at its most fun when used in a group of players who all carried Menace pistols. Before you know it, everyone running around shooting at one-another is giggling and having a great time, and that’s what paintball is all about.. www.paintball.media 0105
