Oklahoma D-Day 2015 Photos and Words by Alicia Bane My first year at Oklahoma D-Day in Wyandotte, Oklahoma could not have gone any better. After being in a car for 8 or so hours and no sleep for close to 27 hours, I was not particularly in the “paintball mood”. As soon as we drove by that notorious “D-Day” sign and saw all of the players, the energy there quickly changed me. The weather was hot and sunny; the vendors were opening up, the players pouring in ready to play. It was a great week to play paintball! Tuesday was the day that I got to the park and the day the real fun began! There was a mini-game that day on the Airfield. It is also the day that vendor row opened up and the park became live! Some of the vendors in attendance were Valken, RAP4, TC Paintball, Paintball Sports, Ultimate Paintball, Guerilla Air, Virtue, as well as Team Defiant representing the veterans. The food vendors this year were also fantastic! Bringing back the very popular Phil’s Grill and Dominos.
