In their four first round games Rage won three, easily enough to move on. In fact they made it all the way to the semifinals where they finally were knocked down by DZ All Stars 2-1. Rage would eventually finish in fourth place after losing the game for third place 4-3 to Ralph Boys. In the finals it was DZ All Stars handling business against Competitive Edge to take the the Division Two Cleveland title. Photo by Gary Baum 048 paintball magazine Twenty teams entered Division Four Xball in Cleveland and somewhat surprisingly not a single one of those teams won its four prelim games. Houston Notorious came close, winning three and tying their fourth. As the event moved forward it became clear that Notorious was the team to beat and as it turned out, they never lost a single game on the way to winning the division. DBS Supersonics finished second, Chicago Warped Black third and One Nation 2 fourth. Five teams entered the NXL’s ten-man bracket. Storm Riders would beat Rogue in the finals to take the division. Pekin Prestige won the Division Four, five-man division. Next up is the NXL’s Mid Atlantic Open, August 7-9, 2015. At this time the site has yet to be announced. Go to www.PlayNXL for more. • • •
