It was not long before the sound of cracking paint slamming into the bunkers and the sound of the G count echoed around the site. One thing was for sure; the games were on. I caught up with Sandbaggers DC, a group of kids who were growing in confidence with each game they played. I first chatted to this team way back at round 1, so I thought it would be good to see how things were going. Chatting to Eathan Cole, Jack Latham Keanen Isaac, and Ellio Gajewski, I asked how they are finding the field. They came at me with such energy and enthusiasm, “It’s a great field to play. It’s fast, but you can also play defensive. It has everything.” This young bunch has become a great deal. They are getting better and better with each round. One thing is for sure; if this is the future of British paintball, we are in a great place. Keep up the hard work lads! Clint Moore was back home playing along side London Nexus after a season away with Art Chaos, having missed a couple of rounds due to a neck injury. He was back for round 3 looking to spur on the team not only within the CPPS, but also the Millennium. Could Clint be the difference on a team that is in a transition?
