The very concept , and subsequent existence of prototype GMek paintball guns from Planet Eclipse , has caused a significant stir in the already growing , or perhaps resurging , world of competitive mechanical paintball already populated by Automags , Autocockers and GOG markers . Tie all this into bumping into my friend and resident design guru Jack Wood of Planet Eclipse who enjoys the Fulda Gap scenario enough to swing by and visit every year and what you wind up with is … well … Josh and Jack having a pleasant catching-up conversation and Jack offering a prototype GMek to Josh to use for the event . I worked on a lot of way more epic ways to describe that in my head but the actual facts of how it happened kept getting in the way so I just went with the truth .
Bottom line is Jack Wood handed me a prototype Planet Eclipse GMek for me to use at Fulda Gap 2017 . Pulling the Immortal Air bottle and G . I . LVL loader off the marker I ’ d planned to use for the event and switching them over to the GMek it was off to the chronograph to get everything locked in . . The event paint for the game
