NATO forces were able to hold until approximately 1200 when the 82nd airborne was decimated upon landing in an overwhelmingly hostile environment. At the same time the Warsaw Czech paratroopers (led by Angela “Covert” Lenz) were successful in not only performing an excellent air drop behind NATO lines but also completed a mission for points at the same time. This along with a coordinated attack by Warsaw along the entire battlefront begin the slow push backwards of NATO forces throughout the day that they were never to recover from. Warsaw was victorious on day one. Because of the time change, and player readiness on Sunday morning the game start was pushed back to 1000. NATO was able to push almost immediately into SimCity and took it in record time to take the flag. NATO was also quickly engaged in every other area of the field. Both Generals took it vantage of their nuclear and chemical weapons, removing points from the field and changing the game design once again. On Sunday there was no wind and mass quantities of smoke at times would envelop SimCity making the playing area in eerie orange clouded battlefield reminiscent of Sunday dawned new day for as the field is photos from WWI. Players would barely be reset to where NATO has four bases and able to see bunkers ahead of them or know Warsaw has the rest of the field. It is NATOs what was in the trees. It was a true post a job to push Warsaw back across the DMZ. nuclear battlefield at times. 82 paintball.media magazine
