3-2. In the intensely competitive semi-pro
bracket, the shocker was Colorado Blitz,
who defeated San Diego Aftermath. Mutiny
squeaked by Image 2-1, while Nasty and
AC: Diesel moved on with them.
In Sunday morning’s pro ocho round,
the Ironmen battled their way through a
tough Baltimore Revo to move on, while
the Russians of the Red Legion squeaked
by Tampa Bay Damage in a 5-4 grinder.
This set the Ironmen up against Dynasty,
while the Russians would face off against
X-Factor in the semifinals. That match was
an epic one, with X-Factor simply refusing
to lose and battling their way to a 4-3
victory. AC:Dallas ended New York Xtreme’s
impressive Atlantic City run in that round,
while Houston Heat and Edmonton Impact With the semi-finals decided, it would be
AC: Dallas taking on Dynasty, and Impact
squaring off against X-Factor. The battles
were intense, low-scoring affairs that saw
Dynasty fall to AC: Dallas 3-2, while Impact
pushed X-Factor aside in a 3-1 slugfest.
Everyone suddenly realized what it all
meant: the Atlantic City finals would be
a Rab versus Rab affair, as pro paintball
legend Steve Rabackoff of Avalanche and
G.I. Sportz fame, would have to watch
from the sidelines as his two sons, Justin
Rabackoff of Edmonton Impact and
