The whole two days there are battles
for flags, unique exciting missions and
determined players. One thing that stands
out is the helicopter in the skies shooting
paintballs down at players from both
sides. The helicopter pilot (legendary
DOC) has great aiming skills and chases
down anyone in his path! No one is
allowed to fire back at him due to safety
issues. However it’s pretty fun just running
from him. It can really keep commanders
on our toes as he fouls up plans for us.
I have played General, XO and Field
Command roles countless times and I
have to say that this game is one of my
favorites.
Let’s reflect on the battle a bit. It started
with me telling Greg Hastings that I know
Joe Perez will send his nastiest beasts
down the middle to over -power the field
(Blue’s Crew of EMR). I knew he would
send them down the line of the castle and
left towards the stone village while a faster
team runs up the hill for the oil refinery at
the other side of the castle. But I had my
own Plans. We sent the Master Blasters
up the Hill with our General to take the oil
refinery with many other troops and had
a plan for hold of several positions. That
post is worth the most points.
I shot towards the middle of the field
with troops to block EMR’s Blue’s Crew.
I sent the Wild Geese with The help of
Assassins and my team ( 1St Recon ). The
battle in the middle of the Stone Village
was relentless on both sides.
