Allies back into the sea, the event was sure to be epic! Players began arriving at Skirmish to camp, party and play night games late in the week leading to the 2016 Invasion of Normandy and were met with a Skirmish facility that was ready for them. Paint was plentiful, staff was everywhere, the vendor tents and displays were standing tall and though the camping and parking spots filled up quickly, 068 paintball.media magazine there seemed to be room for everyone. Weather for the event was odd to say the least, with a hot week preceding the event giving way to a cooler but muggy and overcast weekend with sprinkles of rain falling Saturday morning and a misty fog hanging in the air. This worked, however, as players would surely be able to stay on the field and enjoy the amazing ION experience without the increased
