but no one would be shocked to see Dynasty pull it off
either. But that was not to be as Edmonton Impact had a
relatively easy time of it taking the match and tournament
6-3. The win would put Edmonton Impact firmly in the
driver’s seat in the professional season rankings race. In
fact, it would take a miracle for them not to win it at this
point as their lead is so large (772-684 points) over Los
Angeles Infamous.
The semiprofessional division has 19 teams battling for
their shot at paintball fame this weekend. Of those 19
teams only Brooklyn Bears and Sacramento DMG would
run through the preliminary round winning all four games.
The Bears would then be knocked out earlier than most
expected in their first game of the day on Sunday versus
distortion. Sacramento DMG would win their Sunday
morning matchup against Dallas Diesel 7-2 and advance
to the semifinals. PC Katina beat Miami Rage in their
quarterfinal game Sunday and Louisville Asylum beat TCP
Machine to move on.

PC Katina saved their best paintball for Sunday in
Cleveland and in the semifinals they ran all over Distortion
5-1. Louisville Asylum beat Sacramento DMG in the other
half of the semifinal bracket 4-3. PC Katina continued their
roll in the finals taking the match and the event with a 4-2
win over Louisville Asylum 4-2.
DZ All Stars played their best event of the season at the
Great Lakes Open, besting the field of 19 teams and
winning all but one match all event. They would win the
event in Division Two with a final-match victory over the
number one ranked Bay State Bandits 4-1. In Division
Three it was Gucci Gang taking first place after finishing
in 19th place in their only other event of the season
in Nashville. Camp Pendleton Raiders Black won
Division Four.
The National Xball League’s finale, the World Cup, is set
for November 3-6 and it is shaping up to be the event of
