Breakout Spa in the CPL season rankings race, as Breakout
Spa had two second place finishes. The TonTons rounded
out the top four coming into this event. But the hype for
the game surrounding the two North Americans teams,
GI Houston Heat and Edmonton Impact turned out to be
unwarranted as Edmonton Impact put it on Houston Heat
6-1. Likewise the TonTons brought their A-game against
Breakout Spa with a 6-1 win. The loss sent Breakout
Spa to fourth place in the series rankings just behind
Houston Heat.
The final-round matchup would be set with the Toulouse
TonTons taking on Edmonton Impact and what a game it
would be. Impact came out of the gate flying taking five of
the first six points. And Coach Dave Bains warned Impact
not to get complacent, that the game was not over… and
it sure wasn’t. TonTons just continued to believe point
