Michael Brown, the captain of team TOG happily
states, “Our favorite thing about USXBL is how
smoothly every is ran and how they care about what
the players want. They always make sure everyone
has plenty of time to let their teams get ready to
play and have people out there that always check
in on players and staff to make sure they have
everything they need. They’re friendly and care
about growing the sport in paintball.”
The ac: Dallas program will be officiating, and the
X-Ball, 5-Man, and 3-Man staple formats have all
returned for this year. The Premiere Division will be
introduced for the SCR series, that allows D2 players
to compete due to many players ranking up this
year.
One crazy twist that will challenge competitors
are the way layouts are released for all events: An
assortment of eight layouts have been released
and will be randomly chosen one week before each
event. Layouts will not be re-used once chosen,
and a unique, ‘Superstar,’ layout will be made for
the National Championship that will be released 2
weeks prior to the event.
To conclude the league’s season, the National
Championship will take place October 6th - 7th in
Dallas. Go Sports will be returning to film the event
live, with special hosts yet to be announced. First
place series prizes will be entry into NXL World Cup
depending on the division competed, along with
cash prizes to win at the Championship event, and
of course trophies, medals, bragging rights…the
whole hoorah!
