competition with a solemn remembrance of a Brother we lost. Jonathan Mispeld Cornell’s life was tragically cut short at the first Dreaded Legends, fell ill on the field and was later brought to the hospital where the final goodbyes were said. Mispeld, for those that never knew him was a silent warrior, a friend and a Brother, someone you could always count on and someone you could always talked to. He was loved by all, respected by all and will be deeply missed. His father played this weekend in his honor, his mother, brother and sister were also in attendance. We gathered, we gave our ultimate respect and we celebrated an amazing man and an amazing paintballer. 038 paintball.media magazine Day two started out much like Day one, a standoff, competitors carry on from the prior days’ battle. The Buccaneers had something to prove. Having let the Marauders seemingly slip away with this battle did not sit well. As the palm plants shredded paint it made movement next to impossible but the Blue side found a way. They wanted revenge, they wanted blood, they lost their base and someone needed to pay. The Buccaneers eventually pushed forward and were able to gain enough ground to complete missions, some missions. The cleverness of the CPX crew always leaves you guessing, every mission is an experience, even the missions that lead you right to the base of the opposing side.
