competition with a solemn remembrance
of a Brother we lost. Jonathan Mispeld
Cornell’s life was tragically cut short at the
first Dreaded Legends, fell ill on the field
and was later brought to the hospital where
the final goodbyes were said. Mispeld,
for those that never knew him was a silent
warrior, a friend and a Brother, someone you
could always count on and someone you
could always talked to. He was loved by all,
respected by all and will be deeply missed.
His father played this weekend in his honor,
his mother, brother and sister were also in
attendance. We gathered, we gave our
ultimate respect and we celebrated an
amazing man and an amazing paintballer.

Day two started out much like Day one,
a standoff, competitors carry on from
the prior days’ battle. The Buccaneers
had something to prove. Having let the
Marauders seemingly slip away with this
battle did not sit well. As the palm plants
shredded paint it made movement next
to impossible but the Blue side found a
way. They wanted revenge, they wanted
blood, they lost their base and someone
needed to pay. The Buccaneers eventually
pushed forward and were able to gain
enough ground to complete missions, some
missions. The cleverness of the CPX crew
always leaves you guessing, every mission is
an experience, even the missions that lead
you right to the base of the opposing side.
