reinsertion, and only the true covert ops reign supreme. The magfed elite were able to move about the field and govern themselves. A few players, not accustomed to FL magfed were extremely pleased at the tight community amongst magfed players. Much in love with the sport and the nature of their competition, a fairly evenly matched bunch tested the waters for all of us. They got the chance to run not only parts of the field but also take each other on at the final battle field. After the magfed game it was time to draw the line in the sand, not decided amongst a coin flip or paper, rock, scissor, but a competition built for the warriors in all of us, flippy cup! Some say the side you choose gives you momentum, some say it gives you a leg up on the competition and some say it doesn’t matter, we let fate decide. Red side was victorious in the fierce battle. Edging out their opponent in not only speed and accuracy but thirst as well. A theme that would be all too common as the weekend sailed on. Friday ended on an uplifting note, as players, vendors, refs and family gathered at the Tiki Bar at FTT, they went not only for a players party but a ceremony. We celebrated the CPX producer, DJ Honu Fox, and his lovely wife, Lani, renewing their wedding vows in front of the people they love the most, their paintball family. The torches were lit, the rum began to flow and steak was on the grill, for a feast and party are always needed before charging into battle. www.paintball.media 029
