The hordes of scalawags have been divided,
joining the side they believe will bring them
the most riches, the true treasure being
eternally etched in history as victorious.
Blue side, the Buccaneers, led by Steve
Knieriem as Black Bart, set sail as the Army
of the Sea, ready to crush the Marauders
and bring their reign of terror to an end.
Red side, the Marauders, led by Brandon
Blouin, were ready and willing to send any
resistance straight to Davy Jones, nobody
stood in their way of riches and power! As
the story of this game is rich with Pirate
lore so is the field and as well the missions
designed by CPX. Missions of seeking
out treasures, solving puzzles and finding
clues upon clues. Parlay missions from one
command base to another, to discourse the
purpose of this war over a hearty drink or

two. Players were sent by Captains to go
retrieve lost treasures at the ship wrecks. It
was noted by one commander that he, at
one time, had a steady stream of players
bringing them bags of gems, gold, and
treasures of all kinds from the wreckages.
I think of all the missions the absolute
“favorite” of the commanders and players
alike were the puzzles, Jigsaw and 3-D,
assuring them that the path to victory wasn’t
going to be quick, wasn’t going to be easy
and might even give them a headache.
There were times when the commanders
were involved with multiple puzzles at once,
a punishment for cursing the gods!
Dreaded Legends 3, started for some on
Friday Feb. 9th, magfed was to have their
day. The field to themselves, unlimited
