The loader must be disassembled to install those batteries, but this leads also to an impressive feature of the CTRL – how simple it is to disassemble to its main components for battery installation or cleaning. Securely snapping together at the front and back, the upper and lower shell components hold the Raceway and tray with its electronics and feed system securely in place with the help of magnets, and pulling the loader apart and putting it back together take about the same amount of time as reading this sentence (yes I tried it). consistently all the way down to the last few balls, as on one or two occasions without them I found myself needing to take a split second to rock the loader to get that last handful of paint to the feed tray. During testing on a positively nasty early Spring day with misty rain falling, chilly temperatures in the forties and some paint that could best be described as “not so great” the loader did not jam or otherwise malfunction, keeping an Empire Syx, an Eclipse CS2, a GMek and an Inception Autococker well- fed and shooting without breaking or chopping a single ball. Once on a marker, the CTRL absolutely lived up to its marketing as a balanced loader, as its light weight and low profile absolutely made for a nimble, comfortable platform on various paintball guns both mechanical and electronic. The single button made switching the loader on and off quick and easy. Markers were easily able to clear 10 balls per second and climb into the teens without skipping or slowing down, and long streams to hold lanes remained consistent. I absolutely recommend upgrading the loader with the optional front and rear spring ramps to help the loader feed paint Light, small, balanced, well-built, easy to maintain and attractive, Bunkerkings’ new CTRL loader is an impressive piece of tech that does its job well and lives up to its promises. While its price might keep some away, those looking for a high-end loader that will handle its business inside the net should add the CTRL to the list for serious consideration. www.Bunkerkings.com MSRP $225 www.paintball.media 095
