CPX events stormed Black Ops Paintball, in like a lion and out like a lion; no, that is not quite how the saying goes but it seems that is the only thing CPX got wrong with this event. They began their 2020 season much like their 2019 season, with Bones and Ashes. The third installment of this event features the previous, and only winner to date, Joe Perez of the 13th Legionnaires going head to head against Eric Bryant of the Head Hunterz, first time commander and member of the home team. The chance to dethrone 2-time defending champ, an opportunity to enjoy a legendary game at a legendary field or just a way to paint the town in absolute carnage must have been alluring enough to smash all the previous records. Many players come in early for the event to register, to beat that colossal Saturday morning line, and to take part in early, pregame shenanigans. CPX will usually plan shooting events to give the more hopper-challenged, or shall we say anti-electros, an opportunity to out maneuver each other in a tactical open play situation. The first alluring point grab comes early for both commanders as they are called to assemble the forces they have available for a www.paintball.media 063
