Merry Meet , and Welcome to our Ostara / Beltane issue , I am so glad you could join us . First and foremost , let me take a minute to address your biggest question , “ What happened to our Winter issue ?” Well , as Benjamin Franklin once said , “ Never ruin an apology with an excuse .” So , instead of giving you the long list of reasons , please accept my apology to all of you . The missing issue responsibility rests entirely on my shoulders , and I am sorry to have let you down . I will , of course , make it right with all our subscribers to ensure you get the printed issues you have subscribed too . Now , for the next question , “ Why the change in format again ?” Well , as I have noted in the past , there is a difference in running a digital and print magazine . These differences have created many learning opportunities for us . To that end , the design change for the Fall issue just didn ’ t seem to fit into our format . So like all things in life , we took what worked for us and got rid of the rest . We will continue to add and make changes going forward . Speaking of changes , as you will clearly see , we have done away with some sections and added new ones based on your feedback . If there is something which you loved which we removed or something we have added which you don ’ t like – please let us know . I encourage you to think of this as your magazine . That is how we see it , and our role is only the caretaker of this work . Next change you will notice is , instead of focusing on seasons ; we are now focusing on holidays . Why ? Again , from the feedback provided . Many of you had noted it would be better to have eight publication , focusing on the eight major holidays instead of seasons . This change gets us closer to fulfilling another of your requests ; to break the magazine up into eight issues fitting the eight major holidays each year . It will also let us address our readers in the southern hemisphere who ’ s holidays are opposite of those in the North . So , welcome all and thank you all for sticking with us as we grow and change in this process . Please enjoy and have a wonderful Ostara and Beltane .
