Basically a `mouth that spoke great things ' refers to the fact that the Antichrist will be a tremendous communicator . He will master the modern forms of communication far better than any leader ever has . His worldwide audience will no doubt feel that they know him personally . He will appear charming and kind , yet cause deep emotions and passion in those who listen to him speak . So persuasive will this man be that he will be able to talk tens of millions of people into following him and doing whatever he wants them to do .

Daniel compares the Antichrist to other leaders of his time . In comparison , the Antichrist seemed greater . The Antichrist will be the greatest leader this world has ever known . He will have a magnetism and power that will be irresistible to the world . People will naturally want to follow him . They will look to him as their only hope . The generals of all the armies of the world will take their orders from the Antichrist . The world will breathlessly wait for his latest thought , idea or command . In fact the Bible says in Revelation 13:7b —
