Jesus commanded His followers to be on the alert and watch for His Return . He knew that if we would watch and be on the alert , our lives would have meaning as we worked to live a holy life . God does not want us discouraged as we come to the end of time . He wants us to have hope . And that hope is that Christ is coming for us soon . May we always be on the watch , may we always be on the alert and may we always have that hope .
