hope if we put all these sufferings and troubles into an eternal perspective . Whatever we may suffer on this earth is short in comparison to eternity . The joy that we will have with God forever will far outweigh any distress we might have as this sinful and tired world comes to a close . As we look at the dark clouds of world disorder and destruction , we can comfort our hearts with the promise of Revelation 22:20 —
