On Thursday, July 21, 2016, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty celebrated the much-anticipated grand opening of the firm’s new Global Headquarters in the heart of downtown La Jolla, California. Located at 1111 Prospect Street, the flagship office sits directly across the street from the historic La Valencia Hotel and was designed to showcase the best of San Diego Real Estate to the global audience that visits La Jolla each year.
The “blue” carpet was rolled out to welcome the estimated 250 guests to the 6,600 sq. ft. venue. Guests were greeted by photographers, stilt-walking street performers and live music and enjoyed a globally inspired cuisine and wine pairings. Additionally, party-goers were treated to a TESLA automobile demonstration and test-drives along with the opportunity to view a classic 1913 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost and a vintage Lionel model train collection which were displayed in the office’s public exhibit hall. With its prominent location, high visibility, digital displays and public interest component, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty’s Global Headquarters will engage visitors from around the world and let them explore all that San Diego has to offer through a dynamic multi-media gallery experience. “It was important to us to design a dynamic headquarters to showcase the global reach of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand and promote not only our listings and listings from our affiliate offices all over the world, but to also promote the benefits of living in San Diego, to the 50,000 plus annual visitors that flock to La Jolla each year,” says Brian Arrington, CEO, Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty.
