This course is designed for personnel who encounter confined spaces and/or permit-required confined
spaces at their workplace or job-site. This course is designed to supply participants with the information
necessary to recognize confined spaces and permit-required confined spaces and their hazards. Topics include:
confined space identification; hazard recognition; regulation overview, and the affected employee’s role and
responsibilities.

Confined Space - Permit Required Entrant, Attendant, Competent Person & Supervisor

This course is designed for construction and general industry personnel who encounter confined spaces
and/or permit-required confined spaces at their workplace or job-site, and to qualify personnel as entrants,
attendants, competent persons, and entry supervisors. This course supplies personnel with the technical
information and skills necessary to recognize, evaluate, and control the unique health and safety hazards
encountered in permit-required confined space work. Topics include: state and federal regulatory review,
confined space programs, space identification and evaluation, entry permits, hazard recognition, atmospheric
testing, ventilation, self and non-entry rescue, and personal protective equipment. This class includes rigorous
hands-on training using tripods, winches, z-rigging, harnesses, atmospheric monitors, portable ventilations
equipment, and lifeline/fall arrest gear.
