Car Seat Safety
Most car seats – 9 out of 10 – are installed incorrectly, but yours doesn’ t have to be one of them. Pacific Safety Center has certified technicians available by appointment to teach parents and caregivers how to install car seats properly. Our technicians are certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration( NHTSA). They will teach you stepby-step how to install your child’ s car seat and answer any questions you may have. Gift certificates are also available – give your friends, families or co-workers peace of mind. PSC also partners with companies to provide Car Seat Fitting Stations throughout the County of San Diego.
Driver’ s Education
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for young people. When your teen is learning to drive, you can trust the Pacific Safety Center to offer exceptional driver’ s education. PSC offers classroom or online training and behind the wheel training to satisfy the DMV’ s licensing requirements. We teach students how to be safe, responsible and defensive drivers, as well as the rules of the road. Our Driver’ s Education program highlights the consequences of DUIs and distracting driving. All of our instructors are DMV certified, background checked, friendly and responsible.
Motorcycle Safety Training
As a California Motorcyclist Safety Program( CMSP) affiliate, PSC is proud to offer the CMSP Motorcyclist Training Course( MTC) for beginning motorcyclists. Upon successful completion of the MTC, students will receive a DMV DL389 certificate that may waive the riding skills test requirement at the DMV. The MTC is designed for the novice rider with no( or limited) street-riding experience. This course includes both classroom and on-cycle instruction. You will learn fundamental skills required to operate the motorcycle and progress to street riding skills and strategies.
