GGB : Congratulations on the success of the 2023 G2E . By all accounts , it was a huge success . But you never rest on your laurels , and planning began for 2024 immediately after the doors closed . How is it going ? Carrison : You ’ re right , G2E planning is a year-long endeavor . We start right after the show from last year . We do a lot of post-show surveys . We have a lot of conversations . We look at what we think went well and what we can improve .
One of the highlights from last year was the introduction of our new brand and logo . We really leveled up on the look and feel of the G2E brand , and it ’ s been exciting for us to carry that through the first entire year of prep for G2E 2024 .
But we ’ ve really spent the whole year focusing on how the industry is progressing , what ’ s coming next , and what ’ s evolved since last year . We get a lot of input from industry stakeholders , ( including ) the different advisory boards , and input from the gaming community when we do our call for content .
From the AGA standpoint , how do you think it ’ s going , Maureen ? Beddis : Oh , I think it ’ s going great . This is only my second year , so I still consider myself new . I ’ m lucky to work alongside Korbi and the RX team , who have been at this much longer than I have .
But I ’ m really energized about this year and was so pleased with how things went last year . I think we ’ ve got a lot of good things in the pipeline for this year , and overall am I just feeling really good about it .
We understand the show floor has been redesigned to a certain extent . How is that happening , and what ’ s different from last year ? Carrison : We ’ re riding the momentum from last year , when we introduced the iGaming Zone for the first time .
Of course , the iGaming component , across the Americas especially , has been a big topic of interest . So we ’ ve put a lot of effort into expanding
“ The guides will create a journey for you , starting in the expo hall , with different exhibitors you should see , highlighted sessions in the education program , as well as the keynotes . All the topical information that relates to your area of interest will be highlighted , along with networking opportunities .”

and improving it . Let ’ s just say it ’ s an area that you won ’ t be able to miss this year . We have more exhibitors than ever , with the goal of bringing together different stakeholders , including providers of services or products and those who are operating in that space .
That carries across into education , not only the core program held in the Venetian Congress Center , but in the Lab on the show floor .
We have a lot of forward-thinking companies offering up their leadership , talking about iGaming and associated technologies — things related to game development , things related to affiliates . It ’ s really a robust conversation pertaining to iGaming , especially this year .
